What do you want from the Green New Deal: A town hall meeting for Cuyahoga County

Start: Thursday, March 21, 2019 7:00 PM

The concept of a Green New Deal is being advanced in Congress as a way to respond to the interrelated crises of climate change and economic inequality. While the general goals are clear, the specifics of a Green New Deal program still need to be worked out. And that means it’s an exciting time for citizens to help define what the program should do and how it could support local jobs and rebuild communities.
This educational town hall meeting is an opportunity for citizens to propose ideas about what they want in the Green New Deal. Results will be shared with local Congressional representatives.
