There is still hope for the single-payer Health Care Bill SB-562 in the state of California!
Next Saturday, some friends and I are hosting a FREE film screening of the documentary "Now Is The Time" (here's a link to the preview on Youtube) with a panel of experts address question and concerns. There's a lot of fear and misinformation about what single-payer is and how it would actually work and this event will break it down.
If you've been bummed about the ACA repeal and want to become a part of the political process, this is a great issue and timing is crucial, SB-562 will be voted on in the state appropriations committee soon.
