Winona Area People's Climate March/Celebration

Start: Saturday, April 29, 201710:00 AM

End: Saturday, April 29, 201712:00 PM

The current administration is a threat to the future of our planet, the safety of our communities, and the health of our families. They have attacked the hard-won protections of our climate, health, and communities, and the rights of people of color, workers, indigenous people, immigrants, women, LGBTQIA, young people, and more.

Americans have fought back with a wave of protests larger than at almost any other point in history — let's stand up for our communities. Make a statement by showing your support, sharing your ideas, and coming together to hold government accountable to the people.

Join us on April 29th at 10 am at the Levee Park near the parking lot off Walnut Street. Let's march to the Winona Bridge and celebrate a bright future together.

We also have an Art Day on April 15 (9 am -noon) at the Winona Arts Center (5th & Franklin) for art making to visually communicate our care for our natural resources and get our message out.
