End: Saturday, January 20, 2018• 4:00 PM
Description
On January 21, 2018, thousands of women, femmes and allies will come together in Las Vegas, Nevada, to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Women’s March and to launch our collective 2018 Women’s March agenda: #PowerToThe Polls.
We in San Luis Obispo, CA are organizing a Rally on Jan. 20 to celebrate a year of resistance, to use our vote as our voices, and to mark the Women's March anniversary weekend.
From the 1/21/17 Women’s March in San Luis Obispo to this very moment, we’ve seen how powerful we are when we gather together, share space and lift each other up. While the official Women's March event will take place in Nevada, Women’s March San Luis Obispo is organizing an exciting local event in tandem with over 160 events happening worldwide. From rallies, to marches, to legislative actions, to community events, to voter registration drives together we will create transformational change in 2018!
Show up in numbers too large to ignore and let this administration know that women and our allies are not backing down.
Join Women's March San Luis Obispo in San Luis Obispo for Hear Our Vote: Voices of Resistance 1/20/2018!

FAQs
IS THIS A MARCH or a PROTEST?
NO. This is a Pro Peace, Pro Inclusivity RALLY. We are not marching this year in San Luis Obispo. We respectfully ask that targeting of any one group or person not happen at this rally. This does not mean that we don’t acknowledge these feelings and points of view, but this is not the focus of this particular rally.
WHO'S INVITED?
IS THE RALLY ACCESSIBLE?
Yes. We are fortunate to have Katie Voice (back this year) and Lauren Lippincott for sign language interpretation. Mission Plaza is ADA accessible, and we will have a limited number of chairs for those that need them. Please make sure to check the weather and plan for your needs.
