On January 21, 2017, women and their allies will gather in Washington D.C., and in hundreds of cities around the world, to stand in solidarity with one another as they champion for equality, diversity and inclusion.

Gender Links (GL) is committed to an inclusive, equal and just society in the public and private space in accordance with the SADC Protocol on Gender and Development. As such, GL is proud to be adding our voice to the Women’s March 2017. We will be offering a seminar at our local country offices (which will be connected to one another via Skype conference).

The seminar will give participants a platform to highlight some of the challenges that women rights organisations are facing as a result of aid cuts. The discussion will also look at strategies on how women rights organisations can make the most impact with limited resources and alternative means of funding.
