Women's March Portland: #WomensWave
Start: Saturday, January 19, 2019•11:00 AM
Join us for the #WomensWave! Women's March Maine, our partners and allies will march in solidarity on January 19, 2019 with actions around the globe. The 2017 Women's March inspired hundreds of women to run, millions more to vote, and dozens to win elected office. The 2019 Women's March marks two years of resistence to the Trump presidency, two years of training new activists, and two years of building power. And this time, we're coming back with an agenda.
Marchers will meet at Congress Square Park and walk together to City Hall. March will start promptly at 11am.
The rally will be held at 11:30 at City Hall Plaza. A limited number of chairs will be available for people who want them, with priority given to anyone with accessibility needs.
ASL interpreters provided.
