The purpose of this gathering is to stand strongly together in public declaration for support of human rights & respect for diversity; & to join in solidarity•in conjunction with/support of the

As responsible caring women and men, we seek to raise awareness that human rights is about the equality, dignity, security and safety of all people, inclusive of respect for all genders and sexual orientations; respect for all races and nationalities; and respect all political affiliations and all religions. In turn we insist upon reciprocal respect from others and are prepared to use our hearts and minds to work out practical ways to resolve serious differences in order to live together in joy and harmony.

Our gathering, via speakers & cultural entertainment, will speak to the angel in each of us to raise our consciousness that each person in our society must be safe in the presence of every other member of our society.

We will be distributing safety pins as a symbol of individual commitment to this goal.

We view this gathering as a part of the beginning of an international collaboration to promote human rights, equality, safety & dignity for all.
