On January 21, 2018, thousands of womxn, femmes and allies will come together to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Womxn’s March and to launch our collective 2018 Womxn’s March agenda: #PowerToThe Polls.

We in Seattle, Washington and the surrounding region are organizing Womxn Act on Seattle, a day of action and training on January 21, and Power to the Polls, a rally and march, on January 20, for the Women's March anniversary weekend.

From the Women’s March to the Women’s Convention, we’ve seen how powerful we are when we gather together, share space and lift each other up. While the official Women's March anniversary event will take place in Nevada, Women’s March Chapters are organizing exciting state-specific anniversary events throughout the anniversary weekend, from marches to legislative actions to community events to voter registration drives.

This January 21, 2018, Seattle Womxn Marching Forward is planning a CITYWIDE day of training, support, sharing, and action with your neighbors, nonprofit organizations, marginalized folks, grassroots and social justice groups in Seattle. This year, we will honor the anniversary of the worldwide Women’s Marches, we envision a day of action and place-based community building, demonstrating Seattle's commitment to equitable outcomes for all.

Participating nonprofits and social justice groups will open their doors all over the city. Local businesses will host lectures and panels. In addition to on-site non profit events, there will be neighborhood hubs around the city. These hubs will serve as event spaces for concurrent events, grassroots groups who do not have a physical location, and place-based community building.
