Tell the Truth Action Campaign - Wednesday, February 28, 7-8 p.m., Zoom

Extinction Rebellion US has just launched a multi-faceted campaign aimed at the media, politicians, and other organizations with influence and power, demanding that they Tell the Truth about the climate crisis.  

XR Chicago is planning local actions and initiatives to contribute to this campaign, which will last through spring and into the summer.  

These next few months are crucial as climate tipping points are neared or breached, global elections are likely to determine the future of the planet, and the media is largely silent on the connections between climate and politics.

XR Chicago is committed to engaging empathetically with the public on the urgency of this crisis, while disruptively challenging the institutions that could make a difference if they spoke truthfully about and acted urgently on the crisis. To do this, we need everyone’s knowledge, skills, talents, and love for the Earth. We need you!
