HOOPS Brewing does validate up to 3 hours of parking in the lot between HOOPS Brewing and the big red ship in the harbor (the one you can tour!)

How to participate: Show up!
Arrive anytime between 4:30-8:30pm
4:30-6:00 - Social Hour w/local housing advocates and YIMBY members
Postcard writing campaign - YIMBY North Shore and YIMBY Twin Cities members will be there!
Grab a drink - HOOPS has so many great beers on tap as well as N/A options of course!
Lemonade, Uffda Kombucha, and Point Rootbeer is on tap. They also have a variety of juices and sodas.

6:00-8:00 - Screening and discussion of: Making Pro-Housing Policies a Reality: Abundant Housing in our Backyards with Ezra Klein
Why: Because it's important to advocate for more housing in our state!
In Minnesota, we are over 95,000 housing units (rental and owned) short.
This shortage grows year-after-year and is the major contributing factor to sky-rocketing housing values. This also contributes to the rising number of households who are paying more than 30% (typically cited as the affordability threshold) of their income on housing - some even paying upwards of 50%.
