June Unlearning Circle: You and Gaza

Undoing White Supremacy Austin is engaging in a 3-part series to explore Israeli violence in Gaza. The first and third events in the series will be our June and July Unlearning Circles.

On Saturday, June 22, Undoing White Supremacy Austin is organizing with Jewish Voice for Peace to host a teach-in on Jewish identity, anti-Semitism, zionism, and settler colonialism. The teach-in will be from 10 am to noon at Wildflower Unitarian Church. Masking is requested.

You are welcome to join us for any one, two, or all three of these events.

In the June Unlearning Circle, we will examine together the childhood and present-day influences that shape how we view, experience, understand, and organize together in response to the current Israeli violence in Gaza.

In our more open Unlearning Circle format, you are welcome to enter at anytime prior to 10:15. You are welcome to leave the zoom room at any time in the 2 hours we will spend together.

Because we are navigating challenging topics and building community together, trust is essential to this work. In that spirit we ask everyone to be on camera. If that is not possible, we ask for transparency with the group around why you cannot be on camera.
