We know that with enough volunteers powering this campaign, we can not only fight, but win.

That's why we're pulling out all the stops! This weekend we'll also be joined by the legendary Natalie Bennett, former leader of the Green Party and Peer in the House of Lords - and kicking off the Saturday morning by launching a brand new LGBTIQA+ campaign action at the South West Trans Pride March in Bristol City Centre.

What does it involve?

We'll be hitting the streets of Bristol delivering leaflets and speaking to local residents about the issues that matter most to them. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet other Young Greens, gain some political campaigning experience, and take part in one of the most exciting Green campaigns across the country.

There will be training and briefing on the day so don't worry if this is your first time attending! There will always be other experienced Young Green campaigners there to buddy up with and we’ll be going out in pairs or small groups so you'll never be alone. We’ll all be joining up together for lunch (and also to put our feet up at the nearest local at the end of the day!) If you have any questions please contact admin@younggreens.org.uk or post below!

Rough schedule for Saturday:

11.00 - Meet us outside City Hall on College Green
11.30 - Join the South West Trans Pride March
12.00 - Lunch and walk to our base for the day at our base (9 St Matthews Road, BS6 5TS)
13.00 - An introduction from the candidate and short briefing (+ hot drink!)
13.30 - Campaigning session 2 (leaflets and canvassing)
15.00 - Break
15.30 - Campaigning session 2 (leaflets and canvassing)
17.00 - Feet up at the local pub!
