A citizenship question does not belong on the 2020 Census. Add your name to stand with the immigrant community.

The Supreme Court has just agreed to hear a case about whether the Trump administration’s decision to add a question to the 2020 Census about citizenship is constitutional. Even though Trump has no valid reason for including the question, the Republican majority of the Court could very well side with him.

What does this mean when it comes time for the 2020 Census? Millions of immigrants and their families will be too afraid to participate, which will have a direct impact on the Congressional representation and the distribution of federal funds for crucial social programs.

We can’t allow Trump and his racist administration to get away with such a blatant show of hatred towards immigrants. We’ll be standing with the immigrant community to let the Supreme Court know that immigrants deserve to be heard and counted in the Census. Add your name now to stand with us.
