About the Event

This autumn we will be publishing our first report The Case for Basic Income for Artists in Scotland, it summarises the insights from the Conversations we’ve had with hundreds of artists across Scotland. Join this session to make sure the voices of artists who contributed to the report are heard and to shape the next phase of the campaign.

When and where?

Saturday 26th September 10:30am - 3pm at the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop 21 Hawthornvale, Newhaven, Edinburgh EH6 4JT

What to expect:

• Give your feedback on the draft of the report

• Help develop a set of advocacy activities to help amplify the report

• Practice sharing the key insights of the report as a spokesperson for the campaign

• Build our strategy for engaging arts organisations in the next phase of the campaign

Who should attend?

This is a session for people who want to play an active role in the Basic Income for Artists Campaign. It will be a mix of workshop activities and training. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re an artist, someone who works for an arts organisation or anyone who wants to to support the campaign we just ask that you’re up for participating fully in the day’s activities.
