The Disability Working Group Interim Board is excited to announce elections for our 2022-2023 Executive Board will take place in October and nominations are now open!

This form represents your self-nomination to run for 1 of the 10 elected positions on the Executive Board of the National Disability Working Group of the Democratic Socialists of America.

Board Members serve for 1 year terms. The Executive Board is the administrative core of our Working Group. The Members do the essential work of planning meetings and events, serving on and chairing committees, representing our cause and efforts, and maintaining our online presence. By submitting this form, you are agreeing to do your best to fulfill the duties of a Board Director, committing to give your labor, skills, time, and patience to our Working Group according to your capacity. You agree to do your best to remain an active member and work collaboratively and constructively with the other Executive Board Members. Board Members commit to communicating their capacity with their comrades and to notifying the Board if they need to step down

We use the DSA Code of Conduct and the DWG Code of Conduct to structure and inform our interactions, and by submitting this form you agree to do the same. Board Members can be removed if they do not behave in keeping with these guidelines.

You must be a member of good standing with the Democratic Socialists of America and a member of the Disability Working Group in order to nominate yourself. If you are unsure of your membership status, please email and we will help confirm.
