350NH Online Training Series

If you recently found yourself with a little extra time on your hands or you have been waiting for the right moment to get involved, then 350NH's awesome online training series is for you! In these trainings we will explore how to use online organizing tools, how to stay positive in times of crisis, what COVID-19 means for the future of American Politics and the Green New Deal and more. See below for more details on each training. You can sign up for just one or join them all!

Messaging: Talking about COVID-19 and Climate - Monday, 4/27, 6PM
With the status quo in shambles and our nation on the verge of great change, we have an incredible opportunity to influence outcomes for good. Join us in a training to learn how to use social movement messaging to communicate about COVID-19 and the climate crisis in order to center people and the planet.

Letter to the Editor Party - Tuesday, 4/28, 6PM
Join us for a letter writing party! With people staying inside and glued to the news letters to the editor are a great way to have an impact.  We will have a brief training on writing a letter and spend some time together writing and editing. Join whether you have written dozens of letters or if this is your first time. We need dozens of people to make our message heard!

New Political Landscape: COVID-19 and the Green New Deal - Thursday, 4/30, 6PM
The way that we respond to COVID-19 will have drastic impacts on our society for decades to come. This training will cover the basics of political alignment theory, the USA's response to COVID-19 and what this all means for a Green New Deal and the climate crisis. With great crisis comes great opportunity for change. Join us for a look at how we can be a part of the change to come.

Staying Positive in the Time of COVID-19 - Tuesday, 5/5, 7-9PM
Kendra Ford, Pastor of the UU Church in Exeter will lead us through this training based on Joanna Macy's Work That Reconnects. This training will cover practices on: Gratitude, Honoring Our Pain for the World, Seeing with New/Ancient Eyes, and Going Forth. Learn about how this Work can help you stay positive and engaged in times of crisis.
