Palestinians are reaching out to the global community, asking us to join in their struggle for liberation. In response, the Apartheid-Free Coalition calls on states, cities, businesses, universities, unions, faith communities, and other organizations to become Apartheid-Free. DC is heeding this call!
This form is meant for establishments that are ready to take the Apartheid-Free DC Pledge!

When your community or business takes this pledge, you:
- Publicly acknowledge Israel’s apartheid regime and your support for all DC communities by placing a sign in your community.
- Commit to take action in a way that fits your context - ensuring your community finds alternatives to companies that profit from Israeli apartheid or appropriate Palestinian culture, with support from the DC for Palestine community.
- Join the Apartheid-Free Communities network (https://afsc.org/apartheid-free-communities) that shares resources, opportunities for action, and support
THE APARTHEID-FREE DC PLEDGE:
WE AFFIRM our commitment to freedom, justice, and equality for the Palestinian people, the people of DC, and all people around the world;
WE OPPOSE all forms of racism, bigotry, discrimination, and oppression;
WE DECLARE ourselves an Apartheid-Free Community and to that end,
WE PLEDGE to join others across the city to be a safe space for all people in DC seeking justice for all and to end all support to Israel’s apartheid, settler colonialism, military occupation, and genocide of Palestine.
