✨Be Our Guest on Parenting is Political!

Are you a caregiver, parent, or chosen family member navigating the intersections of parenting, politics, and justice? We want to hear from you.

At Parenting is Political, we believe that some of the most powerful political acts happen around kitchen tables, on the playground, in school board meetings, and through bedtime stories. Our podcast uplifts the voices of everyday people—folks who are doing the sacred and messy work of raising children while also fighting for a world that is more just, joyful, and free.

We’re not looking for “experts.”
We’re looking for you.

Whether you're:

  • Organizing in your local school district

  • Raising neurodivergent or gender-expansive kids

  • Navigating systems as a disabled or undocumented parent

  • Healing from religious fundamentalism while building new family traditions

  • Dreaming up alternatives to punishment, policing, and capitalism in your home

—your story belongs here.

✨ Nominate Yourself to Be a Guest!

This is your invitation to step into the mic and share your lived wisdom. Fill out the short nomination form and tell us:

  • What you’d love to talk about

  • How parenting shows up in your politics (or vice versa)

  • What liberation looks like in your daily life

We center BIPOC, queer, trans, disabled, low-income, immigrant, and formerly incarcerated voices. If you’ve ever felt like media isn’t made for your family—this space was built with you in mind.

We review nominations on a rolling basis. If selected, you’ll be contacted for a pre-interview and recording session.
