LGBTQ elected officials in New York and California have already introduced legislation to protect trans kids, their families and the LGBTQ community from bigoted bills. LGBTQ leaders in Colorado, Delaware, Florida, West Virginia, Vermont, Illinois, Minnesota, Kentucky, Washington, Kansas, Georgia, Oregon, New Mexico, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Michigan are working on similar bills.
