Clean Air will be deploying a network of Purple Air Monitors (PAM) throughout Erie and Niagara County, focusing on areas with higher population densities - we need community leaders willing and able to host these monitors at their homes, businesses, churches, community centers, and other locations.

Time/Activity Commitments
- Site control: you must either be the site owner or have permission from the site owner for placement
- PAM technical needs: site placement must be relatively sheltered from direct sun and weather, high off the ground, with access to wifi and a power source. - Neighborhood Leaders must attend program-related monthly 1 hour or quarterly 3 hour leadership development training classes.
- Neighborhood Leaders must be willing to engage in outreach and education for neighbors, such as co-hosting with Clean Air's assistance an annual block meeting or party with air quality as a central topic.
- Neighborhood Leaders must also commit to a regular quarterly 15-30 minute check-in meeting with staff, and a periodic one-on-one check-in with staff, generally twice a year, 1 hour over lunch, coffee or on Zoom. Before joining the program, applicants must first have a one-on-one with Clean Air staff.
