Endangered Species Day is the third Friday in May. This annual celebration of saving species is an opportunity to engage your friends and neighbors in conservation and to build support for protecting plants, fish, and wildlife.

By joining our Endangered Species Day Ambassadors group, you can pledge to help organize an event in your hometown. Your Endangered Species Day event could be anything from gathering with friends to plant milkweed in a garden, to hosting an event at a park or school and inviting conservation organizations.

Whatever you choose to do, we will be with you at every step to help plan and prepare and to help you get the word out.
