For your Future, your steps, your well being!

Good schools are the foundation for healthy communities. They are essential for our children’s future.

Public support is strong for fully funded schools. But some county leaders have let us down.

Our county, unlike most, gives complete control of the purse strings to one person: the County Executive. Elected County Council representatives can only make cuts – or move money around. Under current county leadership, they have had to rob Peter to pay Paul and have been forced to shortchange vital public services all while the county brings in $50 million in new money each year as the economy has been improving.

We are out to change this situation. We in TAAAC have a different vision of a better future – schools that will Raise Anne Arundel County and meet its obligation to the next generation.

Your presence at County Council Budget Hearings will send a message to our elected leaders and to the community:  More of the same -- underfunded and under-resourced schools – are not acceptable. Fully fund our schools!

Being at the County Council budget hearings sends that message and builds for a better future. Be at North County HS on Monday, May 8th and Maryland Hall for the Performing Arts on Thursday, May 11th. The rally begins at 6 p.m. and the budget hearings begin at 7 p.m.

Thank you for taking the next step to RAISE ANNE ARUNDEL by standing with us. Fill out the form to RSVP for both or either dates.

After you click on the Add Your Name button, you will be sent to a screen where you can write a letter to the county officials to tell your story and ask them to fully fund our schools.
