Call the DC Council: Vote YES on the Universal Paid Leave Act!

Tomorrow, December 20th, the DC Council will vote on Paid Family Leave and they need to hear from you today to ensure that is passes.

Take a moment and call your DC Councilmember in support of Paid Family Leave today. Then let us know how the call went.

The Universal Paid Leave Amendment Act of 2015 passed out of the Committee of the Whole on Tuesday, December 6th, despite more than a year and a half of industry efforts to kill the bill that would provide vital benefits for all Washingtonians

But paid family leave has not passed yet! Please call your Council member today and let them know how important this legislation is to you and your community. And let us know how the calls went afterwards using this form.

The proposal includes eight weeks of parental leave, six weeks of family leave and two weeks of medical leave. Imagine how much of a difference this legislation will make for DC families.
