Celebrating Solidarity 2018

Please join us this Pride Month in honoring:

Last year, when President Trump attacked transgender service members with an edict to ban transgender people from serving in the military, Union Veterans Council and Pride at Work issued a joint statement condemning the action.

The most quoted part of that statement was a line by Union Veterans Council Executive Director, Will Attig. He said, "It doesn’t matter what the race, gender, sexual orientation, or gender identity is of the person next to you in battle - it only matters if they can put a bullet down range and on target."

Union Veterans Council has continued to be strong advocates for LGBTQ service members and veterans and we’re proud to consider them an ally in the fight.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Retail, Wholesale, and Department Store Union (RWDSU), the event is now FREE to attend.
