Gathering for Global Solidarity: COP26 Vigil
The stage is set at COP26 for world leaders to continue the disastrous decades long trend of denial and inaction. Without drastic action, COP is complicit in crimes against humanity. Now more than ever, people must pull together with all our love, rage, courage and determination to create the change needed. Because the power belongs to the people, not politicians. This week we join the hundreds of thousands of people around the world who have marched, protested, and caused disruption during COP26 to demand that world leaders act.
Join XR NYC and the NYC climate movement for a week of vigils including two days of music, talks, trainings, arts and open mics. Join us to say THIS IS NOT OVER.
