Today, we raise our hands to take collective action against those who try to mess with our vote. We stand together for a democracy where:

• All eligible voters can register to vote,
• Every vote is cast and counted securely, and
• All communities have the freedom to participate equally in the democratic process.

This is our democracy.

Democracy works best when all Americans have the freedom to participate regardless of who they are, where they live, or how much money they make. The right to vote is our most powerful tool we have to advocate for the issues that matter most. It is how we hold elected leaders accountable and stand up to wealthy special interests. From climate justice to workers’ rights to criminal justice and immigration reform, we win on our just causes when all eligible voters can fully participate.

We cannot leave democracy to elected officials alone. We the People have the power improve and protect the lives of working class families, our communities, our environment, and our nation 365 days a year.

It’s time to stand up and stand together for a democracy that works for all. We must act and demand reforms that blunt the influence of corporations who flood our political system with money and wealthy special interest that try to shrink our voting power.
