We can take collective action as health workers to demand change, defend the right to vote, and ensure the safety and integrity of the upcoming election.

We are launching a new campaign — Defend the Vote for Public Health — between now and the November 3rd election to sign up health workers to:

• Be poll workers
• Be election monitors
• Get out the vote on the issues that matter most to our collective health

We are also asking for public health institutions to commit to provide employees the option to take paid time off on election day to do election related activities.
