Deliver a Thank You Letter to Senators Who Voted to Block Weapons to Israel

On Wednesday, November 20, the US Senate held the first-ever vote to block weapons to Israel after the Biden administration failed to enforce US law around weapons transfers for over a year.
The following Senators voted yes on resolutions to block weapons, including guidance kits (JDAMs) for dumb bombs Israel has used to kill hundreds of Palestinians civilians, and 120mm tank rounds and mortar cartridges: Sens. Sanders, Merkley, Welch, Warren, Schatz, Van Hollen, Kaine, Markey, Heinrich, Smith, King, Ossoff, Hirono, Durbin, Shaheen, Luján, Warnock, Murphy, and Helmy.
Special interests like AIPAC, as well as the Biden administration, lobbied heavily for Senators to vote against these resolutions. These 19 Senators were willing to stand with the majority of American people who want to enforce US law and cut off weapons to Israel.
To show your appreciation and build upon this vote, add your name and write a note to these Senators. IMEU Policy Project will deliver your thank you notes in-person to these Senators in Washington D.C.
