We are fired up and ready to Unseat Collins in November 2020.

But, the democratic primary isn’t until June. Until then Mainers have hard decisions to make and we encourage an informed voter.

Many Mainers have met candidates at forums around the state and read about the democratic candidates online. But in order to have a healthy primary season we need the candidates vying to run against Senator Collins to debate the core issues Mainers care about like health care, the environment and a living wage.

To date NO debates are scheduled.

Mainers for Accountable Leadership defines an accessible leader as one who holds regular meetings and town halls with constituents, and not just donors and interest groups; providing enough staff, phone answering, and internet capacity to respond quickly, and personally, to constituents trying to reach them both for services and to express constituent views; staffing state offices adequately with qualified staff who can respond to constituent concerns, regardless of party; inviting the public to their events.
