In August, we mobilized to demand our members of Congress support a full impeachment inquiry; now, it’s time to show them how it’s done.

On September 23, we’re taking action in Washington D.C. to demonstrate the massive support for impeachment among the American people. We’re holding a hearing on Capitol Hill, one that can’t wait any longer: The People Vs. Trump.

This is a people’s impeachment hearing. That means we’re descending on the Hill to share personal testimony and make our voices heard -- we need you with us.

• WHERE: 2111 Florida Ave NW
• WHAT: Learn how to craft and prepare testimony, apply storytelling frameworks, and discuss how to talk about impeachment. This workshop will be hosted in D.C. and also live-streamed to support anyone submitting testimony.

FAQs

Is there transportation provided to D.C.?
While we are unable to offer transportation, the We The People March has organized buses from across the country for their D.C. protest on Saturday, September 21. You can hop on one of their buses to D.C. and then stick around for our Monday action! Click hereto view their transportation page.

Is this affiliated with We The People March on September 21?
We’re bringing an impeachment contingent to the We the People March protest! RSVP on the Facebook event page here. We encourage people to catch one of the free buses to the march, and then stick around in D.C. for our training and action.

Isn’t the D.C. climate strike also on September 23?
Yes, September 23 is a big day for democracy! Youth leaders have called for a climate strike to shut down business as usual in D.C. on 9/23. We’re in support of their organizing, and encourage you to take public transportation to The People Vs. Trump, as the strike may impact traffic. We believe that we can't make the progress we desperately need on climate while Trump is in office -- and there's no guarantee democracy will work for us in 2020 unless we make it work now.
