Employers support the Domestic Workers Bill of Rights!


Nannies, housekeepers, and home health care workers provide quality care to our communities but are excluded from basic labor protections. That means many workers have to tolerate low or no pay and discrimination or harassment at work.

As individuals and families who have counted on the support of domestic workers we say: this is unacceptable. Fair pay and other labor protections are rights all workers are entitled to and shouldn’t be left to individual employers to do the right thing. A dignified, respectful workplace benefit employers and workers alike. That is why we stand with domestic workers to urge the passage of the Domestic Workers Bill of Rights.
