Eviction Prevention Rental Assistance
West African Community Council is partnering with King County to provide rental relief to those most affected by the pandemic.
Household eligibility
An “eligible household” is defined as a renter household where at least one or more individuals meets the following criteria:
- Residence within the King County geographical area
- A lease; or proof of regular recurring rent payments
- Household income at or below 50% of Area Median Income; households can use 2020 income or current income to prove eligibility;* Seattle - Bellevue, WA HUD Metro FMR Area Median Income Limits

- Must prove they are at risk of experiencing homelessness or currently experiencing housing instability
Rental assistance provided to an eligible household cannot duplicate any other federally funded rental assistance provided to the household. Eligible households that include an individual who has been unemployed for the 90 days prior to application for assistance and households with income at or below 50% of the area median are to be prioritized for assistance
*US Citizenship is not a requirement under EPRAP assistance. We will not ask for information about immigration status.
