WISPIRG Student’s Internship and Volunteer Program is designed for college students looking to increase experience in political organizing and civic engagement. Our program provides interns with opportunities to build leadership skills in grassroots organizing, while working in the community on a variety of service and education projects.

Interns and volunteers will work remotely. Given the remote nature of the internship, students taking part in digital learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic can still apply and be considered for the position.

Colleges and universities must be at the forefront of America’s efforts to reach 100 percent renewable energy. WISPIRG Students is running a student mobilization effort to make sure administrators prioritize renewable forms of energy to combat the climate crisis.

Whether you have 5 hours all semester or 10 hours a week, there are volunteer, leadership and internship opportunities.
