Hey, Welcome! Let's find out a bit about each other:

Welcome to 198 methods! We're a small, nimble team working use the power of the internet to supercharge direct action campaigns that fight climate change and save the planet. Sound a little vague?

Well that's because we actually want your help to pick the actions and campaigns we work on. You fill in the form on the right (or below) and we'll tell you the same stuff about us:

Tell us about myself
198 methods is the brainchild of Drew Hudson. You can follow him on twitter here to see what he's reading, or check out our Facebook page for updates and news related to our campaigns.

You can also contact us at drew (at} 198methods.org

Where did we hear about us?
Drew started this project after 20 years of working for other environmental groups. We don't want to duplicate what other people are doing, and we don't want to take the focus off of front line fights and the amazing people waging them. But we do have some experience that can help raise money, attract thousands of supporters online, and supercharge public attention under the right circumstances.

What sort of activities are we interested in?
Your kind! No seriously, we're actively looking for front-line partners to work with. If you're fighting a pipeline, export terminal, power plant, or any other kind of environmental hazard with a connection to climate change tell us about it (here or email us at the email above). Want some examples of why and how to share info with us about your campaign?

In the last 6 months we've helped gather more than 100,000 signatures calling on Big Banks to stop funding fossil fuels and respect indigenous rights. Actually, we did that three different times). We raised hundreds of dollars for direct relief in the wake of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. And we raised more than $1000 and 10,000 signatures to support a day of action at FERC's first "public" meeting in months. Oh, and Drew and a crew of dedicated friends got arrested (and released) protesting the vote that gave FERC back their quorum in the first place.

So what can we do for and/or with you? tell us all about your campaign, community or project and how we can support it - we promise to be in touch soon. Or, if you don't have something happening right now, just hang out! We'll send you an email about once a week with something exciting and powerful to do.

And, if you're feeling generous, chip in $1.98 (or $19.80, or $1.98 per week) to support what we're doing. It's tax deductible, and it really helps since we're not taking any money from corporations, foundations, or the government.

Thanks!
