SARAA (South Australian Rainbow Advocacy Alliance) is excited to invite businesses, Government, NGO's and education settings to hold an event in person or online for IDAHOBIT 2023 on Wednesday 17th May. IDAHOBIT is the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexphobia and Transphobia. LGBTQIA+ people in Australia still experience disproportionate rates of bullying, harassment and discrimination. Host an IDAHOBIT event in person or online in your workplace or community group to learn more about the discrimination our community still faces and how allies can make active change to support and improve the health and well-being of LGBTIQA+ people.

SARAA will provide you with resources including a discussion guide that will be listed here once you complete the form including a link to our website for you to play the 11 minute video on 'Rainbow Realities II'. This video interviews 6 people in SA about the discrimination they have faced being LGBTIQA+ people. It also starts a conversation on ways allies can take active steps to support the LGBTIQA+ community to feel included, valued, happy and healthy.
