Climate Action California and 350 Sacramento are co-sponsoring the latest edition of our legislative training series, on January 7 and 12, 2025. As the new 2-year legislative session begins with a large number of new members in both houses, we're adding important new material about oversight committees, how they shape legislation, and how grassroots advocates can engage with them.

• The training on Tuesday, January 7, at 6 pm Pacific will de-mystify California's legislative process. Learn how California laws are made, and how we participate. By the time we meet the leadership should have announced this session's committee chairs and members—assignments that will inform our lobbying strategy.

• On Sunday afternoon January 12 at 3 pm Pacific we'll get specific about how constituents and grassroots groups can advocate for strong climate measures with our elected representatives.
