2024 is going to be a BIG year for climate legislation and policy in California (well, what year isn't?)...and we'll need help and support from climate advocates around the state to send strong bills to the Governor's desk...and to ensure he signs them. There are lots of opportunities to engage in the legislative process, and it's helpful to have a sense of how the state legislature works.

To get everyone ready for the 2024 legislative year, Climate Action California, with our partners Climate Reality Project and Third Act, will present two Zoom trainings for grassroots advocates, in early December 2023 and early January 2024.

• The training on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 will de-mystify the legislative process in California. Learn how California laws are made, and how you can participate!

• The Thursday, January 4, 2024 training will show how grassroots groups and individuals can advocate for strong climate measures with our elected representatives in California and in Washington, DC.

Both trainings will be at 4 pm Pacific time.
