Renters United is an advocacy group that organises renters and campaigns to make renting in New Zealand better for everyone. We see decent housing as a basic human right and our broken renting system as a barrier to realising this right for all. If you want to have a role in bringing about Stable Homes, Fair Rent, Safe and Healthy Homes, & Meaningful Enforcement we’d love to have you!

There are multiple ways to show your support or get involved. We recognise that your time and energy is a limited resource, and we appreciate your desire to help make renting better in Aotearoa. We want to ensure you are able to get involved at a level you find rewarding and meaningful but also sustainable.

The first steps towards this are filling out the form to our right to subscribe to our mailing list, indicating what level of involvement you’d like to start off with, and sharing with us any particular passions, skills, or experience you’d like to make use of in your involvement.
