CO-OPERATIVE MEMBER APPLICATION

Please complete and submit the MEMBER APPLICATION form. The Board of Directors will evaluate your application and contact you to complete your registration.

Energy Democracy Now! is a community-owned cooperative that believes the climate crisis imposes a shift from the corporate centralized fossil fuel-based power generation to decentralized and variable renewable energy sources within a society that is governed by local community priorities.

By becoming a member, you’re buying a share in the co-operative and becoming a co-owner of the movement for renewable, affordable, democratic energy on PEI.

COST: $20 per share (one-time)

Membership is open to all Islanders who share our values.

  • By becoming a share-holding member, you will

    • be entitled to vote in person at a special or annual meeting of members,
    • be eligible to sit on the board of directors,
    • have a voice in shaping the vision for community-owned energy in PEI,
    • help support community-led projects that put Island residents—not corporations—in control, and
    • join other members in working together for climate justice and energy democracy.
