DC's tax code has long benefitted white residents while harming Black and brown residents.

We’re calling for increasing taxes on DC’s highest earning residents, to pay for investments in the long-term health and prosperity of all DC’s residents and to build a stronger, more equitable city.

More revenue will allow the city’s leaders respond to the pandemic and to protect and strengthen crucial investments in homeless services and housing, health care, social services, and education long-term.
