Tell the FTC: Oppose the billion-dollar Koch fertilizer merger!

What’s behind high food costs? According to these farmers, corporate consolidation led by Koch Industries has driven fertilizer prices sky-high, and those costs are reverberating throughout the food system.

Republican mega-donor Charles Koch is seeking a billion-dollar merger that would give his company even more control over a key element of American farming: fertilizer.

The Federal Trade Commission is in an active process of soliciting feedback on whether to allow this merger to go forward and put even more control of the prices Americans pay for food in the hands of one greedy corporation.

Add your name to tell the Federal Trade Commission: Oppose the Koch Industries fertilizer merger!

To the Federal Trade Commission:

We strongly urge you to investigate and oppose Koch Ag & Energy Solutions’ multi-billion dollar takeover of the Iowa Fertilizer Company. The resulting consolidation would diminish competition and lead to higher prices across the entire food industry, and negatively impact farmers in particular. Please block this merger.
