On May Day 2023, this Latina led operation decided to debut our newsletter with a name meaning “the strike” in Spanish. Much like everything else we do, we worked together to choose the name, design the banner, and create content that is inclusive of our ever growing coalition. Week to week we plan on sharing events, updates, movement news from around the country, and stories about the work we’re a part of. Chicago Jobs with Justice is a coalition loving organization and we hope that this newsletter will reflect that.
