Help us improve learning opportunities for leaders across Citizens UK

Community organising is all about building collective power, and taking action together in order to win meaningful change.

2020 was a difficult year - one where our ability to gather together in person was disrupted. But, thankfully, this hasn't limited opportunities for Citizens UK leaders to work and learn together.

In October, Citizens UK started our virtual 'Learning Thursdays' training series, responding to positive feedback from the Covid-19 Response webinars we put on at the beginning of the year. Every Thursday afternoon from 16:00-17:15 we have offered free learning opportunities, with a choice of introductory 'Learning For Leaders' sessions, or more in-depth Masterclasses for people with prior experience of CUK campaigning and organising. Some weeks, we put on a Topical Learning Session, applying organising principles to current campaigns and topical issues.

Hundreds of leaders from across the UK have already joined us throughout the weeks, sharing thoughts, inspiration and learning the tools of organising to take back to their local communities.

We want to make sure we keep improving on this virtual offering, so that we can tailor high quality learning to the needs of our leaders. If you joined us for at least one of these sessions, we would love to hear your feedback!
