The best way to strengthen our local and communicate effectively during national and local bargaining is with a Communication & Action Team (CAT). The goal of the CAT Team will be to provide direct contact and person-to-person communication with members during negotiations.

Our CAT Team will be composed of members of the local who are respected on their shift or in their unit, and are interested in being active in the fight for a fair contract.

With direction from the bargaining committee, the CAT Team will be responsible for sharing updates and maintaining contact with a small group of co-workers on their shift or in their department.

As a member of the CAT Team, you'd be the link between our executive board, the negotiating committee, and the membership.
