Local Perspectives on a Welsh Basic Income - Workshops

The Welsh Future Generations Commissioner has invested in this project to investigate a basic income and shorter working week. It will assess how these policies could improve well-being in Wales.

Autonomy is leading on this with a 12 week study. They will interrogate the often-asked questions around a basic income – including how it could be funded, and who would receive it.

As part of this project the Basic Income Conversation will speak to people in Wales about their perceptions of basic income and how it could impact their lives.

Register here to attend a workshop

A short series of 3 hour workshops will be held in mid-November. We are looking for participants who want to share their opinions and their stories about how a basic income might impact them.

We want to speak to people from a range of backgrounds who have differing opinions on basic income. So we’re asking people to register their interest through this form.

Participants will receive a £25 participation fee.

People who have registered their interest will hear back on whether they have been invited to one of the workshops during the last week of October and first week of November.
