Pero nos toca a nosotros construir el poder de abajo hacia arriba. Nadie más que nosotros nos viene a rescatar. Como decimos todos los días en esta lucha: “Solo el pueblo salva al pueblo!”

The Migrant & Immigrant Community Action Project's Advocacy Department is building the organization’s creative advocacy efforts to transform policy and grow campaigns that further the dignity and well-being of immigrants in Missouri. We are fighting for a future where immigrants, and all people, in Missouri thrive and can live to their fullest potential. A future where we do not access power, we build it.

But it’s up to us building power from the bottom up. No one else is coming to save us. As we say every day in this struggle: “¡Solo el pueblo salva al pueblo!” Only the people save the people!
