Sign up to host a SAGE Table as an organization

Last year, half of SAGE Table events were hosted by organizations. Food, casual conversation and a relaxed environment make for a great engagement opportunity, and we want to celebrate you as a partner in our movement to celebrate an LGBT community with elders at its center.

As a SAGE Table organizational host, you’ll be inviting people of different ages who are part of, or allied with, the LGBT community. We ask that you provide guests with some food or snacks and facilitate a conversation using conversation prompts that we’ll provide you. Once you register to host, we'll send you information to help support your organizing.

Because SAGE Table is a friendraiser—not a fundraiser—you won’t ask your guests for money. Instead, as you close your event, you’ll ask them to follow up by hosting another SAGE Table in the future, meeting again with someone they met at your event, or other opportunities to take action and make a difference.

Would your organization like to host? There’s two steps to the process: first, we need some information about your organization and the person who will be the designated event organizer. In the next step, we’ll ask you to submit key details about your event in order to have the event itself registered as a part of SAGE Table and feature it on our website.

Any questions about this process? You can also join our weekly webinars, every Wednesday from 5:30-6:30pm EST. You can also reach us by email at help@sagetable.org.
