Text books taped together. Broken desks. Malfunctioning air conditioning. The Arizona legislature has stripped our schools of funding and it shows.

The Legislature passed a budget that will add $306 million to Arizona schools. This moves the needle a little, but it falls far, far short of the $1 billion that was taken from Arizona students.

Governor Ducey and his friends in the Legislature failed to fully fund our schools. So now, it will take all of us rolling up our sleeves to cross the finish line.
