Pledge to attend a hearing for Fair Elections in New York

The members of New York's Public Campaign Finance Commission will hold hearings around the state to gather input from residents about how to set up a public campaign finance program with the aim of making our democracy work for everyday New Yorkers, not big donors.

They need to hear from you about why it is important to empower everyday New Yorkers by matching small donors' contributions to candidates and limiting the total amount big donors can contribute. They also need to hear from you that they should not be distracted by fusion voting which is totally irrelevant to creating a strong system of public financing and to leave fusion voting alone.

By showing up at a hearing to have your voice heard in person, you can show the commission that New Yorkers are watching and that we expect them to create a strong public financing program that ensures fair elections in our state.
