Far too many people are killed in truck crashes every year, while their families and communities are left devastated. A recent study showed that the appalling physical and mental health problems faced by drivers are directly linked to an increase in crashes and near misses.

When wealthy clients at the top of the supply chain squeeze transport contracts drivers are pushed to work harder and faster to make ends meet. We’re fighting for a fairer system that will lift standards for all transport workers, and ensure that wealthy companies at the top of the supply chain pay their fair share.

It’s time for the Federal Government to take truck driver conditions seriously.
